The Ultime Western invites you to step into the shoes of a fictional character from the era and experience an adventure set in the American West at the end of the 19th century.
Over several days, you’ll embody a character from the Old West, become involved in a variety of storylines, and solve puzzles, mysteries, and epic quests.
This live-action experience fully immerses you in the world and atmosphere of the era, with a spectacular, larger-than-life setting, professional actors, authentic props and costumes, and an original, epic storyline!
No, this is not a historical reenactment! Everyone has heard of the conquest of the American West, seen Western movies, or dreamed of the iconic landscapes and frontier towns of the era. So it’s very easy to dive into this epic, large-scale immersive adventure!
No, you’re not simply watching a show. This is an immersive live-action experience where you become a character in the adventure, experiencing the action and story as if you were really there.

The goal is not to “escape” as you would in an escape room, nor are you simply a spectator as in immersive theater.

No, this is a cooperative adventure. The goal is to immerse you physically in a story, where you can enjoy taking part, interacting with others, investigating, and working together with the other participants to unravel its mysteries and storylines.
Experiencing the adventure: how does it work?
After you register, we’ll get in touch with you to discuss what you’re looking for, what you enjoy, and the type of character you’d like to play. This helps us offer you a role that matches your expectations as closely as possible, while remaining within the framework of the storyline your character will experience.
In the weeks and months leading up to the adventure, you’ll regularly receive information related to your character in various formats: game rules, game materials, background information, details about the historical context and the American West, practical information, and more.
The aim is to help you gradually become familiar with your character, the setting, and the adventure you’re about to experience.
Your adventure will last 5 days, including 4 days of live-action adventure.
For 2027, it is mainly french but written characters and documents will be supplied in english for english speakers. Interaction can be in english along with other players and staff team. If you speak english, taking part is not a problem as most people do speak english 🙂
At the MiniHollywood film studios. Originally built for Sergio Leone and located in Andalusia, Spain, near Almería (and its airport) and on the edge of the Tabernas Desert—the largest desert in Europe.
This legendary location has been used to film an impressive number of movies and is reserved exclusively for The Ultimate Western during the adventure.
Yes. Places are limited, and participation is subject to reservation and approval by the organizers. Not every application will be accepted.
Exactly! You’ll have access to the entire film studio, which is reserved exclusively for the adventure and specially set up to bring the storyline to life: the saloon, general store, sheriff’s office, bank, and more… as well as all the outdoor areas, where you might just find yourself chasing down outlaws, for example!
No. While most of the studio sets and outdoor areas will be open and prepared for the adventure, some areas are private or reserved for our production team and will therefore not be accessible.
Yes and no. Some set pieces, props, and areas are specifically created and/or prepared for the adventure.
No, not at all. Immersing yourself in your character will come naturally and requires no acting skills. All you need to do is go with the flow and react to the situations as they unfold.
At no point will you be forced to do anything. You remain in complete control of your movements, actions, and level of involvement.
It’s entirely up to you whether you want to actively participate in the story by investigating, interacting with other participants, and engaging with the actors. If that doesn’t feel comfortable, you can simply observe and enjoy the experience just as much.
Our actors are specially trained for this type of immersive experience and will know how to make you feel at ease while encouraging you to use your powers of observation and deduction.
Yes, your character is part of the storyline! In all our immersive adventures and live-action role-playing experiences, you’re free to interact with the actors, non-player characters, and, most importantly, the other participants within the world of the game and its sets.
It’s up to you to explore the possibilities, make your own choices, and play your part in the adventure!
Yes. The actors play characters within the adventure. You’ll be able to interact with both the actors and other participants in all kinds of ways: one-on-one, in small groups, or during larger group scenes.
Yes and no. In this adventure, The Ultimate Western’s game rules clearly define what is expected of everyone, including appropriate behavior, combat rules, and physical interactions.
Above all, always keep in mind that this is just a game.
Yes. Lighting effects will be part of the adventure. You may hear gunshots, encounter galloping horses, and experience special effects during certain scenes, including smoke, props, and set effects.
For this reason, participation is not recommended for people with epilepsy or those who are sensitive to flashing lights or loud, sudden noises, or who have heart conditions.
Yes. So that future participants can enjoy the adventure and discover it for themselves, we ask that you do not reveal any of the secrets of the experience or its storyline.
Yes, but please be discreet so as not to break the immersion for other participants! We’ll also have a dedicated photo and video team on site, blending seamlessly into the game to capture the most incredible moments of your adventure.
These photos and videos will be sent to you after your stay!
Yes. You, your friends, and all the other participants will each play characters in a story set in the American West. You’ll be free to move around and make your own choices throughout the adventure.

Yes, of course! All your meals are included, as well as drinks served with meals. After you register, you’ll be asked to complete a dietary questionnaire so that we can take your needs, allergies, and dietary restrictions into account and offer suitable alternatives.
The saloon will also be open, where you’ll be able to purchase drinks at the bar. Excessive alcohol consumption will not be tolerated and may result in you being asked to leave the adventure.
Yes, but only outdoors, and please make sure not to throw cigarette butts on the ground. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors.

In short, we’ll do everything we can to help you start immersing yourself in the world of your upcoming adventure well before you arrive!
The studios are located in Andalusia, Spain. You can fly to Almería Airport, often with a connection through Madrid or Barcelona. The airport is approximately 20 minutes from the studios, and shuttle services and taxis are available.
You can also travel by car and take the opportunity to explore Spain before or after the adventure. Free parking is available on site.
We mainly recommend bringing:
A good pair of comfortable shoes that match the style of your costume!
A flashlight (it’s always useful!)
A lockable bag or box to keep your personal belongings safe (wallet, phone, ID documents, etc.).
Yes. The following items are prohibited during the Live-Action Game:
Any item that could pose a danger to you or others, such as blunt objects, firearms, or bladed weapons, even if they are replicas or fake.
Pyrotechnic devices and items, including sparklers, torches, candles, Bengal lights, firecrackers, smoke bombs, flares, etc.
Large umbrellas with pointed metal tips, safety footwear, or shoes with exposed metal reinforcements.
Food, alcohol, and any illegal drugs or controlled substances.
No. Each day of the adventure and live-action game begins at the studios at 9:00 AM and ends at 1:00 AM. A detailed schedule will be provided to you.
We offer ticket options that include accommodation. You can also book directly with some of our partner hotels or choose your own accommodation, such as an Airbnb.
Please note that there is no accommodation available at the studios themselves.
Meals (lunch and dinner) are included and served at the studio restaurant each day of the adventure. Additional food and drinks can also be purchased at the saloon, which remains open during the adventure.
Both the restaurant and saloon services are operated by the studio.
Safety first! You’ll be taking part in an exclusive immersive adventure across film sets and on the edge of the desert. Due to the unique nature of the location, it is essential to follow the safety guidelines that will be provided to you after registration.
The organizers reserve the right to suspend your participation in the event of an incident or a serious breach of the safety rules, particularly if it puts other participants, the site, or its staff at risk.

Yes. When placing your order, you will need to provide the name and email address of each participant. Each ticket is issued in the participant’s name.

No. You cannot purchase an Ultimate Western ticket upon arrival. Preparing your adventure, your character, and your personalized game materials requires a considerable amount of time.
For this reason, tickets cannot be purchased on the day of the event or less than two months before the adventure begins.
Your ticket will be sent to you digitally once your order has been paid in full. You will receive an email containing your personalized ticket.
Simply save it to your smartphone or print it out. You will be asked to present it upon arrival.
Yes, you can transfer your ticket up to three (3) months before the start date of your stay. After this deadline, tickets can no longer be transferred.
To transfer your ticket to another adult, you must contact us so that we can take over the preparation and onboarding process with the new participant. Since the adventure begins before the actual stay, we need to provide the new participant with important information in advance and guide them through the preparation process.
Here is a summary of the conditions for exchanging, transferring, or cancelling your ticket:
Exchange: You may exchange your ticket free of charge for another date (subject to availability) up to 2 months before the start date shown on your ticket. Please contact us to arrange the exchange.
Transfer: You may transfer your ticket free of charge to another person up to 2 months before the start date shown on your ticket. Please contact us to arrange the transfer.
Cancellation and refund: You may cancel your ticket free of charge within the legal 14-day withdrawal period following the date of purchase and request a full refund by submitting the withdrawal form.

No, you will not lose your place. The adventure will be rescheduled, and you will be able to attend once public health conditions allow the event to take place.
Your ticket will remain valid until you use it.
Due to the unique nature of this real-life adventure game, the event may be cancelled in the event of force majeure and/or if there are not enough participants. The minimum number of participants required for the event to take place is 80. Below this number, we reserve the right to cancel the scheduled session.
If the event is cancelled by us, your ticket will remain valid for a future date or can be issued as credit toward one of our other events. You may also exchange or transfer your ticket.
Costumes & props
Yes. The Ultimate Western is an immersive adventure in which all participants wear costumes. If you don’t have one, or if buying one would be too expensive, we offer a costume rental service for the entire stay through our film-industry partner.
If you’re a Western enthusiast, you are of course welcome to bring or create your own costume!
Yes. Your character will receive various game-related items and props upon arrival. A replica Colt revolver may also be provided for the duration of your stay by our authorized provider, either as an optional extra or included with your ticket, depending on the package you choose.
Just pack as you would for any trip! In addition, remember to bring a flashlight, your ID and travel documents, any medication you need, your toiletries, and other personal essentials.

Yes, of course! You’re in the Wild West, so horseback riding is THE perfect way to get around! A horseback ride through the desert is available, either as an optional extra or included, depending on the ticket you choose.
